Owner and full-time guide, Sam specializes in Musky and Smallmouth bass on both the New River and James River, as well as several other tributaries and lakes. Sam's connection to these rivers runs deep, having grown up navigating every turn and dedicating his life to fishing them.
With a profound commitment to conservation and research, Sam collaborates closely with the VA Department of Wildlife Resources, contributing to the understanding and preserving of these unique species. His expertise goes beyond the norm, offering an insider's insight into these fisheries that few possess.
As a USCG Licensed captain with full insurance coverage and certifications in CPR, AES, and Swift Water rescue, Sam ensures your safety while creating unforgettable angling experiences. Whether you prefer fly fishing or conventional gear, Sam tailors his trips to your preference. His jet boat comfortably accommodate 1-3 anglers, catering outings or groups of up to 6, promising a personalized and engaging journey into Virginia's rivers.
Brody Ray
Brody has grown up in Eagle Rock, VA right on the banks of Craig Creek, a musky haven! Like most talented guides, he spends as much time as possible on the water. Brody knows our rivers very well and he stays dialed in with what our fish are doing. His youth and enthusiasm are attributes you will enjoy and Brody will go above and beyond to impress his anglers with an awesome day on the water! Brody rows a 3 person raft fully rigged out for musky fishing. Comfortable , stable , and able to get you into the skinny water of our creeks and tributaries where no one else can get to.

Daniel is the definition of local knowledge. He’s spent 40 years hunting these mountains for Deer, Turkey, Bear, and Birds. And he’s been floating our rivers learning every secret they hold!
